Salary: Senior Lecturer - £59,966 - £67,468 Reader - £69,488 - £73,709 Professor - Competitive (per annum) The Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management (DMEM) is an internationally leading department Delivering Total Engineering for responsible and sustainable futures. We seek to appoint a Professor /Reader/Senior Lecturer (SL) in Engineering Management, with an envisaged start as soon as possible. In the UK, a SL is tenured and at Associate Professorship level, and a Reader position is tenured and at next level following an Associate Professorship, equivalent to a promoted Professorship as it is, for example, termed in Sweden. We’d love to hear from you with research interests especially in engineering project and programme management, large- or mega project management, digitalisation of production and service systems, smart, circular, and green supply chain management, technology and innovation management, and industrial- and systems engineering management. This includes Engineering Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering with Management, Engineering Management for Process Excellence, Digital Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Sustainability Management, Systems Engineering Management, Mechatronics and Automation, Product Design Engineering, Product Design Innovation, Technology and Innovation Management, Systems Thinking, People, Organisation and Leadership, Strategic Technology Selection for Digital Transformation, Lean Six Sigma, or Advanced Project Management). Our programmes are accredited by professional institutions, including: The Institution of Engineering Designers (IED), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and selected with APM (Association for Project Management) and CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply).
