Program Manager - Community Development

About the Role

Our client, a highly respected charity, is seeking a passionate and experienced Program Manager - Community Development to oversee initiatives in Brighton . This hybrid role requires a dedicated leader to manage the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community-focused programs that directly support our client's mission. You will work closely with community members, partners, and internal teams to ensure programs are impactful, sustainable, and meet the needs of those we serve. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end management of community development programs, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
• Develop program plans, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress against objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, beneficiaries, and local partners.
• Lead and mentor program staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to ensure program effectiveness and impact.
• Represent the organization at community events and meetings, advocating for our mission.

Requirements

• Proven experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit or community development sector.
• Strong understanding of community development principles and best practices.

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership building.
