About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Programme Manager to lead critical technology initiatives in Oxford . This senior role will involve overseeing a portfolio of interconnected projects aimed at transforming the company's technological infrastructure and capabilities. You will be responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and ensuring that programmes deliver their intended business value and align with the organisation's long-term vision. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple technology-focused projects within a programme.
- Develop and manage programme roadmaps, budgets, and resource plans to meet strategic objectives.
- Identify and manage programme-level risks, issues, and dependencies across all constituent projects.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to project managers and teams involved in the programme.
- Ensure effective stakeholder management and communication at all levels, including executive leadership in Oxford .
- Drive continuous improvement in programme delivery processes and methodologies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in programme management or senior project management roles, preferably within the technology sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-project technology programmes.
- Strong understanding of various technology domains and their strategic implications.
- Expertise in programme governance, risk management, and financial oversight.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PgMP, PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) are highly valued.
