Programme Manager - Youth Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and dedicated Programme Manager to lead their impactful youth development programmes in Wolverhampton . This vital role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives designed to empower young people, enhance their skills, and provide positive opportunities. You will work closely with youth workers, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure programmes are effective, engaging, and meet the needs of the young people we serve within the local community .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning and operational management of youth development programmes .
• Develop and implement programme curricula and activities that align with youth development best practices.
• Manage programme budgets, resources, and staff effectively to ensure successful delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders in Wolverhampton .
• Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes, collecting data and reporting on impact and areas for improvement.
• Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are rigorously adhered to across all programmes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in programme management , preferably within the youth or social work sector.
• Demonstrated success in developing, delivering, and evaluating youth-focused initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing budgets and reporting on programme performance.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and experience working with young people.
