About the Role
Our client, a prominent charity dedicated to empowering young people in Wolverhampton , is seeking an experienced and passionate Programme Manager to oversee its youth services. This leadership role involves developing, implementing, and managing a range of programmes designed to support youth development, education, and well-being. You will lead a team, manage budgets, and collaborate with schools, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure the success and sustainability of our youth initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of all youth programmes.
- Manage programme budgets, ensuring financial targets and reporting requirements are met.
- Supervise and support a team of youth workers and programme coordinators.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with schools, local authorities, and relevant organisations in Wolverhampton .
- Ensure programmes are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the needs of young people.
- Monitor programme outcomes and impact, preparing reports for stakeholders and funders.
- Represent the organisation in youth-focused forums and networks.
- Foster a safe and positive environment for all participants.
Requirements
- Proven experience in programme management , preferably within youth work or the charity sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver successful youth programmes.
- Excellent understanding of youth development principles and safeguarding practices.
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management abilities.
