About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Programme Manager to lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives in Wolverhampton . You will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple related projects, ensuring alignment with the organisation's overall strategy and objectives. This senior role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to manage complex interdependencies. You will drive significant business transformation and ensure value realization across all programmes, contributing to the company's growth in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage a portfolio of interconnected projects, ensuring strategic alignment and successful delivery in Wolverhampton .
Develop programme governance frameworks, standards, and processes to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
Manage programme budgets, resources, and risks at a strategic level, identifying and mitigating potential threats.
Lead and mentor project managers and teams involved in the programme, fostering a high-performance culture.
Engage with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, to report on programme status, key decisions, and outcomes.
Ensure that the benefits outlined in the business case are realised upon completion of the programme.

Requirements

Extensive experience in Programme Management , with a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-faceted initiatives.
Strong strategic planning, risk management, and financial acumen.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills at an executive level.
Proficiency in programme management methodologies and tools.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organisational change.
Ability to work effectively in the Wolverhampton area with potential for hybrid working.
