Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage community development programmes aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.
- Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies to identify areas for intervention and support.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and beneficiaries.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate programme performance, reporting on outcomes and impact to stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and community consultations to foster engagement and participation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, community development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in programme management or coordination, ideally within the charity or non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with the challenges and opportunities in community development in Leeds .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing.
