Job Title: Project Administrator
Location: Gateshead
Salary: £30,000pa
A growing project-led business is looking to appoint a Project Administrator to provide essential coordination and administrative support across a busy project team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join a collaborative environment where they will play a key role in keeping projects on track from initial order through to completion.
The Role
The Project Administrator will work closely with project managers, engineers, suppliers, clients and the finance team, supporting the smooth delivery of projects and ensuring key information is accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities of the Project Administrator will include:
* Creating and maintaining project files, documentation and trackers
* Preparing order acknowledgements and project correspondence
* Raising and monitoring purchase orders
* Coordinating materials, deliveries, accommodation and project-related bookings
* Supporting invoicing processes and resolving account queries
* Compiling operation and maintenance manuals and handover documentation
* Processing warranty calls and maintaining accurate records
About You
The successful Project Administrator will have:
* Previous experience within project, sales, operations or office administration
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Confidence using Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
* A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership of tasks through to completion
Experience within a project-led, engineering, construction or technical environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
