About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Project Architect to lead key projects within their vibrant Leeds office. This role involves managing projects from inception through to completion, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. You will oversee design development, coordinate consultant teams, and ensure successful project delivery, navigating the complexities of planning, design, and construction. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept to final handover, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Develop and present design proposals, coordinating with clients and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Manage and coordinate the work of external consultants and project team members.
- Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with building regulations, planning policies, and client requirements.
- Oversee the production of detailed construction documentation and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and quality, resolving any site-related issues.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Architect with ARB registration.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in managing architectural projects from start to finish.
- Proven ability to lead project teams and coordinate multidisciplinary consultants.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning law and building regulations.
- Proficiency in architectural design and documentation software, including BIM tools.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities.
