About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Architect to join their established architectural firm in Birmingham . This role is central to managing and delivering a range of exciting building projects across the West Midlands region. You will be responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest design standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically proficient architect looking to take ownership of projects and work within a collaborative team known for its commitment to quality and client-focused solutions. You will play a key role in fostering strong client relationships and contributing to the firm's reputation for design excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage architectural projects from initial brief to final completion, coordinating all design phases.
- Develop detailed architectural designs, construction drawings, and tender documentation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities, and contractors to ensure project progression.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality control.
- Resolve design issues and technical queries that arise during the construction phase.
- Maintain project documentation, including progress reports and financial records.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with relevant professional accreditation and at least 4 years of practical experience.
- Proven track record in managing architectural projects through all stages of development.
- Strong technical skills with expertise in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with UK planning laws and building regulations, particularly for the Birmingham area.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
