About the Role
Our client, a well-respected architectural practice based in Southampton , is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Architect to manage and deliver a variety of exciting projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can oversee projects from initial client engagement through to successful completion, ensuring high-quality design and efficient delivery. You will be instrumental in coordinating design teams, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated architect to take on greater responsibility and contribute to significant developments in Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and client requirements.
- Manage project teams, including consultants and contractors, to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Liaise directly with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and tender packages.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with the design intent.
Requirements
- Fully qualified architect with a recognized professional qualification (e.g., RIBA or equivalent) and significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in managing architectural projects from inception to completion, ideally within the UK.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning procedures, and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, particularly for projects in Southampton .
