About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and talented Project Architect to contribute to their expanding portfolio of significant urban developments in Birmingham . This role involves taking ownership of projects, driving them through all stages of design and construction, and ensuring exceptional delivery standards. You will work closely with a dynamic team, liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to bring innovative architectural visions to life. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver architectural projects from inception through to final handover, ensuring quality and adherence to project goals.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and schedules using industry-standard software.
- Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, surveyors, and urban planners.
- Conduct site assessments and ensure compliance with building codes, planning regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing queries promptly.
- Contribute to the firm's design ethos and technical development through innovation and best practice.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with relevant professional accreditation (e.g., ARB/RIBA).
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) as a Project Architect, with a proven track record in managing construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit , and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and planning applications processes.
- Experience in tender documentation and contract administration.
- Excellent client management and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
