Project Architect
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £40-45,000
A respected architectural practice based in Cardiff is looking to appoint an experienced Project Architect to join its expanding team. This is a great opportunity for a driven architectural professional seeking increased responsibility, greater involvement in project delivery, and the chance to build strong client relationships while taking projects from initial concept through to completion.
The practice delivers a varied portfolio spanning residential, food retail, leisure, industrial and veterinary schemes, providing excellent sector diversity and the opportunity to work across a broad range of RIBA stages.

Qualified and ARB-registered Architect
Previous experience within an architectural practice
Demonstrable experience delivering projects across several RIBA stages
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning procedures
Strong proficiency in Revit
Sound technical, construction and detailing knowledge
Strong design skills with a keen eye for quality and detail
Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
Excellent communication, presentation and organisational abilities
Able to manage competing priorities, project workloads and deadlines
Comfortable working autonomously while contributing effectively to a team environmentKey Responsibilities
Managing the successful delivery of projects across a range of RIBA stages
Progressing architectural designs from initial concepts through to detailed design
Preparing, coordinating and reviewing high-quality architectural and technical information
Leading the production of detailed drawing, specification and construction information
Coordinating planning, Building Regulations and other statutory requirements
Managing relationships and coordination with consultants, contractors and wider project teams
Participating in client, consultant and project meetings
Maintaining clear and effective communication with clients and key stakeholders
Tracking project progress, quality, programme and key deadlines
Supporting the technical delivery and completion of projects to a high standard
Contributing to the continued growth of the practice and providing guidance to junior team members where appropriate
