Project Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent and experienced Project Architect to lead and manage diverse architectural projects from inception through to completion within their practice in Edinburgh . This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent technical detailing skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable architectural solutions, contributing significantly to the firm's reputation and success. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned architect looking to take on greater responsibility in a client-facing role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of architectural projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Develop and refine architectural designs, producing comprehensive construction documentation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and site teams.
• Oversee the tender process and construction administration phases.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations, planning policies, and legal requirements.

Requirements

• Full qualification as an Architect (RIBA Part III or equivalent).
• Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in project management and design delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and associated BIM workflows.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead design teams.
• Excellent client liaison, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
