About the Role
Our client, a renowned architectural practice with offices in Milton Keynes , is seeking a dedicated Project Architect to spearhead the management and delivery of significant projects. This role is ideal for a proactive architect who excels in coordinating design teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of architectural plans from inception through to project completion. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality architectural solutions that align with client visions and regulatory requirements, contributing to the built environment of Buckinghamshire and beyond, within a supportive and digitally advanced firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of architectural projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
- Coordinate and lead design team meetings, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent.
- Resolve design and construction issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Architect (RIBA Part III or equivalent).
- Significant experience (7+ years) in project management and architectural delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expertise in project management software and BIM .
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning law, and contract administration.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
