Project Director | MLI - Real Estate Investment Platform

I'm hiring for the type of opportunity that doesn't come around very often - a chance to join a business at exactly the right point.

Project Director hire with a real estate investment platform scaling across multiple strategies - an established business entering a major growth phase, backed by significant institutional capital and a strong pipeline of acquisitions. You'd take ownership of delivery across those strategies, including a key growth area in UK multi-let industrial.

This is a delivery-led role with direct exposure to both assets and investment decisions. You'll work closely with the investment and asset management teams from acquisition and technical due diligence through to delivery.

The team is lean and senior, with an excellent culture. Plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to take ownership of schemes.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead refurbishment, capex and new-build schemes across the industrial portfolio
• Lead technical DD on acquisitions - capex assessments, condition surveys, cost planning and programme risk
• Take projects through feasibility, design, procurement and delivery
• Procurement and contract management - JCT/NEC, consultant appointments, contractor oversight and project team leadership
• Oversee project budgets, programmes, risk and delivery
• Provide technical input into investment underwriting and acquisition decisions
• Work closely with Investment and Asset Management throughout the project lifecycle

About you:

You will have direct industrial and logistics experience, with a track record of leading schemes across refurbishment, capex and/or new-build. You'll be technically strong, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership in a lean, autonomous environment.

Experience working with institutional investors, private equity or other capital partners would be advantageous. The role could suit someone already working client-side or from consultancy looking to move into an investment-led business.

MRICS qualified, with c.8-12 years' experience. Salary £90,000-£115,000 plus bonus and package.
