About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Project Engineer to contribute to a variety of exciting construction projects based in and around Leeds . This role is essential for providing technical engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, from design and planning through to execution and completion. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and external consultants to ensure that engineering aspects are managed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring engineer to gain hands-on experience and develop their career within a reputable and growing construction organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering support and solutions to site teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings , specifications, and technical documents.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of engineering activities, ensuring timely execution.
- Monitor site works to ensure adherence to design, quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical queries and issues promptly.
- Contribute to site progress meetings and prepare technical reports as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar Project Engineer or site engineering role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction processes.
- Familiarity with project management software and CAD software .
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
