Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Project Engineer to provide essential technical and engineering support for major construction ventures in Leeds . You will be responsible for overseeing engineering aspects of projects, ensuring technical feasibility, quality, and compliance with all standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, and strong leadership. The successful candidate will be integral to the successful execution of complex projects, bridging the gap between design and on-site implementation, and ensuring that all engineering challenges are met with innovative and practical solutions within the West Yorkshire region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Oversee the procurement and installation of project-specific equipment and materials.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources from an engineering perspective.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Substantial experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in construction or engineering projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
