About the Role

Our client requires a skilled Project Industrial Engineer to lead and manage key engineering projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency and capacity within their facilities, with a strong emphasis on remote collaboration. This role involves overseeing projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. You will be instrumental in driving strategic improvements and ensuring seamless integration of new processes or technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end industrial engineering projects, including scope definition, planning, execution, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for projects impacting Leeds and other sites.
• Oversee the design and implementation of process improvements, automation, and layout changes.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies, providing comprehensive recommendations for project viability.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success, often through virtual collaboration tools.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with a significant portion focused on project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and remote collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in process simulation, data analysis, and standard engineering software.
