About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Project Manager with a specialization in Capital Projects to join their team in Bristol . This role is essential for managing significant investment projects, from initial concept and planning through to execution and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring these high-value projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while managing complex stakeholder landscapes. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget meticulously.
• Develop detailed project plans, identify critical success factors, and implement robust risk management strategies.
• Coordinate activities of multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and external consultants.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and financial performance.
• Oversee procurement processes and contract management with third-party suppliers and vendors.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large-scale Capital Projects , demonstrating a strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.
• Demonstrable proficiency in project management methodologies and software.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget control for significant projects.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing office-based and remote responsibilities.
• A relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.
