About the Role
Our client, a dynamic charity focused on empowering local communities in Belfast , is seeking a highly organised and experienced Project Manager . This role is essential for driving forward key community development initiatives, from conception through to successful completion. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard, aligning with the charity's strategic objectives. This hybrid role demands excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate diverse teams and activities both in person and remotely, contributing significantly to the social fabric of Northern Ireland .
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of community development projects across Belfast .
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders, including community members, local authorities, and partner organisations.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects align with the charity's mission and deliver measurable social impact.
- Prepare regular project reports for senior management and funders, documenting progress and outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager , preferably within the charity or non-profit sector .
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment , managing teams and stakeholders remotely and on-site.
- A commitment to community development and social justice principles in Northern Ireland .
