Project Manager - Construction

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager with a specialization in Construction to oversee projects in the Bradford area. You will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership and a deep understanding of construction methodologies and regulations within West Yorkshire . You will be the primary point of contact for site operations and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction projects from initial planning, tendering, and site setup through to final handover.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for all construction activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain strong communication channels with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor quality and address any issues promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Construction industry, with a portfolio of successfully delivered projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes relevant to the West Yorkshire region.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices on construction sites.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Relevant degree or qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
