Project Manager - Construction

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee various construction projects in and around Leeds . This role is integral to ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, adhering to all regulatory requirements and quality standards. You will coordinate with site teams, contractors, architects, and clients to ensure seamless project execution. This hybrid role offers a balance between site visits and office-based planning, providing a dynamic work environment within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate and supervise site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, identifying and resolving potential issues promptly.
• Oversee quality control measures and ensure project deliverables meet specified standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Experience managing project budgets and negotiating with contractors and suppliers.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Relevant degree or vocational qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
