Project Manager - Construction

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in construction to oversee projects in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK . You will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from initial planning and design through to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and site management to deliver successful projects on behalf of our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects according to agreed-upon timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
• Oversee site operations, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and project personnel effectively.
• Develop and manage detailed construction project plans , including cost estimates and resource allocation.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor quality and identify potential issues.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.

Requirements

• Significant experience (6+ years) as a Project Manager in the construction industry .
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with construction project management software .
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
