Lead a Complex £5m Recladding Project for a Growing Façade Remediation Specialist
Albion is recruiting on behalf of an established façade remediation and recladding specialist for the appointment of a Project Manager to deliver a flagship £5 million recladding scheme in Eastbourne.
With an annual turnover of approximately £20 million, this specialist contractor has built an excellent reputation delivering complex façade remediation, fire safety and recladding projects across London and the South East, acting as Principal Contractor on behalf of housing associations, developers and asset owners.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where you'll have genuine responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to progress as the company continues to expand.
The Role
As Project Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a live £5m recladding project in Eastbourne.
Working as the Principal Contractor, you'll lead the project from site through to completion, managing programme, quality, client relationships and overall project performance. You'll be supported by a dedicated Site Manager, while taking ownership of the wider operational and commercial success of the scheme.
Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of a £5m façade remediation and recladding project.
* Manage programme, sequencing and overall project delivery.
* Oversee the Site Manager and site delivery team.
* Ensure the highest standards of QA and compliance throughout the project.
* Liaise directly with the client, consultants and subcontractors.
* Chair progress meetings and provide regular project reporting.
* Coordinate design, procurement and operational activities.
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
About You
* Previous experience as a Project Manager working for a specialist façade or building envelope contractor.
* Strong experience delivering recladding or façade remediation projects.
* Experience working as Principal Contractor.
* Excellent programme management and organisational skills.
* Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
* Good understanding of QA processes, Building Safety requirements and façade systems.
* Ambitious and looking to join a growing specialist contractor with long-term career prospects.
