Project Manager – Refurbishment Projects
Office based role in Dartford
A specialist construction contractor is seeking a Project Manager to deliver multiple healthcare and hospital projects taking responsibility from handover through to completion, commissioning and defects.
Key Requirements: Any refurbishment (retail/schools) or actual Healthcare/hospital project experience and previous Design & Build experience are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects to programme, budget, quality and H&S standards.
* Coordinate Site Managers, subcontractors, designers, clients and clinical teams.
* Produce and manage programmes, RAMS, CPPs, RFIs, technical submissions and drawing trackers.
* Lead design and client meetings, recording actions and driving progress.
* Monitor costs, procurement, variations and provisional sums with the commercial team.
* Identify and manage project risks, delays and EOTs.
* Oversee commissioning, O&M information and final handover.
* Maintain project documentation and provide regular progress reports.
* Travel nationwide to sites as required.
* Ensure appropriate MRI/ferromagnetic safety procedures are followed on relevant projects.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven construction Project Management experience.
* Previous Design & Build experience.
* Trade/site-based construction experience.
* SMSTS qualified.
* Strong RAMS and programme management experience.
* Asta Powerproject experience.
* Good understanding of M&E and commercial processes.
* Asbestos Awareness and Working at Height training.
* Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Degree/NVQ Level 7 or equivalent experience preferred.
* DBS clearance may be required
