Project Manager Highway Structures

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with experience in Bridges / Structures and Highways Engineering to join a client in Oxford. Your main duties include delivering high-profile highway and transport projects across the area, liaising with various stakeholders, managing a multi-disciplinary contractor and design consultant team (highway, bridges and structures) as well as holding budget responsibilities and negotiating funding and income. One of the main projects you will be involved in is a high-value major bridge replacement scheme.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £475 - £500 per day - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements and working from home opportunities are available.

Duties

• Delivering major transport, highways and transport infrastructure projects
• Reviewing design drawings and overseeing cost control
• Managing contract administration and NEC3/NEC4 compliance
• Ensuring all highway elements of projects are delivered on time and within budget

Previous experience in Highways / Bridges / Structures is essential for this role.
