Project Manager - Highways - North West, North East, Yorkshire

We are recruiting for two Project Manager to join us here at Octavius.

In this role you will oversee projects allocated to us on National Highway's Scheme Delivery Framework in National Highway's area 10, 13 & 14 in the North West and North East of England. Each role will focus on a particular region.

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Highways. Experience working on the high speed road network is essential.

You’ll Bring… (your Wealth Of Experience & Qualifications)

• Commercial awareness, and good level of programming and contract knowledge. Familiarity with NEC 4 contracts, and an understanding of how project and package P&L impacts on corporate finances.
• Experience working for a tier 1 contractor and managing a project portfolio up to £15 million.
• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field, professional certification in project management, or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma Methodologies is an advantage.
• Significant experience in highways construction, specifically road building and drainage systems.
• Strong knowledge of NEC or ICE contract conditions and programme management.
• SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
