About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee significant infrastructure development projects in Leeds . This role involves managing all aspects of project lifecycles, from initial planning and design through to construction and handover, ensuring adherence to strict quality, safety, and environmental standards. You will be responsible for coordinating with engineers, contractors, and local authorities to deliver critical infrastructure upgrades. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned project manager to contribute to tangible, impactful developments within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for infrastructure development, including scope, budget, and schedule.
- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project progression.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any deviations or potential risks.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project status, financial performance, and key metrics to stakeholders.
- Lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management , specifically within infrastructure or construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage budgets exceeding £10 million.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Excellent understanding of planning regulations and health and safety legislation.
- Proficiency in using project management software and reporting tools.
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
