Project Manager - Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a capable Project Manager with experience in infrastructure projects to join their team in Plymouth, Devon, UK . You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of infrastructure development projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent stakeholder management, and a solid understanding of infrastructure project lifecycles and challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from initial conception and planning through to execution and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans , including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget management.
• Oversee site operations, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout project execution.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Project Management , with a specific focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure development processes , construction methods, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
