Project Manager - Offshore Wind

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead significant offshore wind projects from their Wolverhampton base. This role involves the full lifecycle management of complex offshore energy projects, from initiation through to commissioning. You will be responsible for planning, execution, budget control, and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the renewable energy or Oil & Gas sectors, coupled with excellent leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of offshore wind projects , including planning, procurement, and execution.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Ensure all project activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in offshore wind or Oil & Gas .
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience with contract management and stakeholder engagement.
