Project Manager - Offshore Wind

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of offshore wind projects, based in or near Brighton . This role is crucial for delivering complex renewable energy infrastructure on time and within budget. You will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and stakeholder engagement through to construction and commissioning. This hybrid role allows for flexibility, blending essential on-site project oversight with remote coordination and management, ensuring the successful delivery of vital renewable energy assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of offshore wind projects .
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Oversee contract negotiations with suppliers and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven track record of successful project management in the renewable energy sector , specifically offshore wind.
• Strong understanding of offshore project execution, supply chain, and logistics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with project management software and methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a hybrid environment .
