Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee renewable energy projects in and around Norwich . This role is pivotal in advancing sustainable energy solutions, managing projects from feasibility studies through to construction and commissioning. You will work with a team of experts, manage contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive projects towards successful completion, contributing to a greener future. This is a rewarding opportunity for a project manager passionate about the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, including planning, procurement, and construction phases.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, contractors, and external consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant environmental, safety, and industry regulations.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including investors, local authorities, and community groups, to ensure effective communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing projects within the renewable energy sector (e.g., solar, wind, biomass).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with contract management and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and permitting processes.
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
