The role:

You will support the delivery of projects that contribute to critical national infrastructure, public safety, and departmental transformation. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating projects, tracking progress, managing risks and issues, and supporting delivery within agreed time, cost, and quality constraints. You will work with a range of stakeholders and project team members, supporting effective project governance and helping to ensure projects deliver their intended outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Experience supporting the delivery of complex or high-risk projects within agreed time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders and communicate confidently with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage own workload, prioritise tasks, and work with an appropriate level of autonomy.
• Practical experience of identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Understanding of project objectives and the key stages of the project lifecycle, from initial planning through to project closure, with a commitment to capturing lessons learned and sharing best practice.
