Project Manager - Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to optimize their supply chain operations, with the flexibility of remote work, while being able to attend their Norwich facility as needed. This role is central to enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving the overall performance of the supply chain through targeted project initiatives. You will manage projects related to logistics, inventory management, procurement, and distribution, working closely with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and a proven ability to deliver impactful projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects focused on supply chain optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction.
• Analyze existing supply chain processes to identify areas for enhancement and innovation.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and identify/mitigate risks to ensure timely completion.
• Implement new supply chain technologies and systems as part of project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , with a strong emphasis on supply chain or logistics.
• Proven experience in managing projects related to inventory, transportation, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of supply chain best practices and technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
