Project Manager – Water
Contract: 24 Months
Location: South West England
Rate: Competitive Day Rate
We are working with a leading engineering consultancy that is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of major water infrastructure projects across the South West. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile programme delivering complex projects within the UK water sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery to programme, budget and quality standards while working closely with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Manage project scope, programme, budget, risk and stakeholder engagement.
- Administer and manage projects under NEC3/NEC4 contracts .
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators and project partners.
- Produce regular project reports and provide updates to senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience delivering £10m+ water infrastructure projects .
- MUST be an NEC Accredited Project Manager
- Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts (essential).
- Experience working on Environment Agency projects.
- Previous involvement in the construction, refurbishment or alteration of reservoirs .
- Experience delivering projects within the public sector .
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- 24-month contract with the potential for extension.
