Project Manager – Water Industry
MEICA | M&E
A leading MEICA specialist delivering major water and wastewater projects is looking for a Project Manager to join its team, working on a long-term water framework in the South East.
Working across the full project lifecycle, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from design through to construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
If you have experience managing water, wastewater, MEICA, or industrial process engineering projects, this is an excellent opportunity to work on major projects with clear career progression.

Duties for Project Manager
*
Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from design through to completion
*
Manage project programmes, working closely with planners to monitor progress and key milestones
*
Monitor project costs and commercial performance in conjunction with the commercial team
*
Identify, manage, and report project risks, opportunities, and change
*
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
*
Manage and monitor specialist subcontractors and wider supply chain partners
*
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, designers, engineers, and delivery teams
*
Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, regulatory, and project requirements
*
Support client relationships and contribute to business development and future work-winning opportunities
*
Oversee the management of operational assets and project handover requirements
Qualifications & Experience
*
Previous experience as a Project Manager within water, wastewater, civil engineering, MEICA, infrastructure, or a similar engineering environment
*
Proven experience managing projects through design, construction, commissioning, and handover
*
Strong understanding of project planning, commercial management, risk, and change
*
Experience managing subcontractors and supply chain partners
*
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office
*
Relevant engineering, construction, or project management qualification is advantageous
*
Full UK driving licence
