Project Manager – Lightweight Steel Frame

We are currently working with a national contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a lightweight steel frame development in Newport.

This is a site-based role, overseeing the project from site set-up through to completion, with responsibility for programme, quality, commercial performance, health & safety and overall delivery.

The Role

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and supply chain
• Ensure works are delivered to programme, budget and required quality standards
• Coordinate with the commercial and design teams
• Monitor progress and resolve any issues affecting delivery
• Maintain high standards of health & safety across the site
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction programmes, quality and site management
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• A strong track record of delivering projects safely, on time and to budget
• SMSTS, CSCS black, First Aid at Work

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established national contractor on a significant project in Newport, with an excellent onward pipeline of work.
