Location: Dyce, Aberdeen - On-site Duration: 12 months Rate: £500-£600 p/d (Umbrella) IR35: Inside Clearance: Must be eligable to obatin SC Clearance
Overview
Our client NATS is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a contract role based in Aberdeen. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and deliver complex projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and to the specified requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan, budget, report, execute, and deliver assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the required specification.
- Prepare staff and business areas for new working methodologies.
- Manage virtual teams through matrix management and oversee members of the Project Delivery Team.
- Follow appropriate governance, working within the regulatory framework of a licensed critical national infrastructure organisation.
- Support Project Delivery Practice management tasks as needed, e.g., Project Managers Working Group.
- Demonstrate and uphold the appropriate behaviours and standards.
- Maintain a high level of expertise and credibility through continuing professional development.
- Ensure all appropriate Operational Safety and Health & Safety activities are completed for assigned projects.
Skillset/experience required:
- A Project Management qualification (APM PMQ/APM or equivalent) is essential.
- A STEM degree and/or significant experience in a management role, preferably in Project and Programme Management, demonstrating strong leadership.
- Experience and knowledge in the delivery and integration of complex projects.
- Proven experience in building strong commercial relationships with customers and suppliers and an excellent understanding of contract management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current and evolving Project Management processes and methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and judgement for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to understand business drivers and manage projects to meet business needs, adapting as required.
- Target Competence Ratings according to the APM Competence Framework, specifically at the Project Manager Master Level
