About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly competent Project Mechanical Engineer to manage and execute key engineering initiatives. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your project management and engineering skills from anywhere in the UK . You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, from initial concept and planning through to design, implementation, and successful delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Develop project plans, define scopes, and establish timelines for mechanical engineering tasks.
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for project challenges.

Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in project management within a mechanical engineering context.
- Proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience in managing complex projects and working collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with all project participants.
