Project Professional - Delivery

Our client, a leading organisation within the defence and security sector, is seeking a Project Professional to support project delivery activities in Barrow. This six-month contract role will involve operating project management processes, supporting senior project staff and independently managing routine activities within a full-time, on-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operating one or more project management processes across assigned project activities Supporting senior project professionals on larger or more complex projects Managing routine project management tasks independently and escalating complex issues where appropriate Applying project management practices, procedures and controls in line with established guidance Maintaining accurate project records, documentation and progress information Supporting project delivery through effective coordination, monitoring and communication Working collaboratively with project teams and relevant stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Experience working as a Project Professional within a project delivery environment Knowledge of project management processes and practices Ability to work independently on routine activities while following guidance for more complex tasks Excellent organisation, communication and administrative skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate project information Ability to work full time on site in Barrow Experience within the defence and security sector or a closely related industry would be advantageous
