Our client, a reputable charity organisation, is seeking a diligent and organised Project Support Officer to provide essential administrative and logistical assistance for their various projects, operating entirely remotely. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of initiatives that aim to benefit the community. You will be responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating team communications, tracking progress, and supporting project managers in various tasks. Working from a home-based setup, you will leverage digital tools to maintain seamless operations and facilitate collaboration among geographically dispersed team members and stakeholders across the Wolverhampton area and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills who is keen to contribute to the success of meaningful projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to project managers, including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and managing correspondence.
- Maintain project documentation, databases, and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Assist with the preparation of project reports, presentations, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate communication among project team members and stakeholders through various digital channels.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, flagging any potential issues.
- Support the procurement process for project resources and manage vendor relationships as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or project support role.
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual collaboration tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse individuals.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
