Location: Sutton, Surrey Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch break) Contract: Fixed-Term (Approx. 12 Months) Working Pattern: Full-Time, Office-Based

A well-established and respected property organisation is seeking a Property Management Assistant to support its busy Block Management team on a maternity cover basis.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting Property Managers with the day-to-day administration of residential developments. Handling incoming calls and assisting with resident and client enquiries. Managing and monitoring shared email inboxes. Liaising with leaseholders, contractors and service providers. Logging maintenance issues, arranging repairs and tracking progress through to completion. Preparing correspondence, communications and mail merges. Maintaining contractor records, insurance information and compliance documentation. Assisting with major works projects and Section 20 consultation processes. Supporting the administration of insurance claims. Providing general administrative support to the wider Property Management team.

Requirements

Previous administration, customer service or property sector experience. Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively. Positive, professional and proactive approach. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Comfortable communicating with clients, contractors and stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable

Previous experience within residential property, block management, leasehold management or facilities management. Understanding of residential property management processes and procedures.
