Property Development Manager

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic property development firm, is seeking an experienced and visionary Property Development Manager to lead exciting projects in the historic city of Oxford . You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from site acquisition and feasibility studies through to planning, construction, and final sale. This role requires a blend of commercial acumen, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of the property development process within a prestigious market like Oxfordshire . You will work closely with architects, contractors, and local authorities to bring innovative projects to fruition.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential development opportunities and conduct feasibility studies.
• Manage the planning application process and secure necessary approvals.
• Oversee all stages of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for completed developments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property development, ideally with a background in surveying, architecture, or construction management.
• Strong knowledge of planning regulations and the development process.
• Excellent project management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Experience in financial modelling and budget management for development projects.
• A strong network within the Oxford property and construction sectors is advantageous.
