About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Property Development Manager to oversee a range of exciting development projects in and around Edinburgh . This role involves managing the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to planning, construction, and final handover. You will work closely with architects, contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This hybrid role offers a blend of site visits and office-based work, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project oversight in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of the property development process, including site acquisition, feasibility analysis, and planning applications.
- Oversee project design and construction, ensuring compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and quality specifications.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of any issues that arise during development.
Requirements
- Degree in Property Development, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property development management, preferably within the Scottish property market .
- Strong understanding of planning regulations, construction processes, and contract management.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with essential site and office presence.
