Property Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Property Development Manager to lead their ambitious development projects in Bradford . This critical role involves overseeing the entire development lifecycle, from site acquisition and feasibility studies through to design, construction, and project completion. You will manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-quality developments that meet commercial objectives and community needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the development process and a proven ability to navigate complex challenges in the West Yorkshire property landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the property development process, from inception to completion.
• Identify and evaluate potential development sites, conducting feasibility studies and due diligence.
• Secure planning permissions and manage relationships with local authorities and planning consultants.
• Oversee design teams, contractors, and consultants, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Ensure all developments comply with relevant building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.

Requirements

• Significant experience in property development , project management, or construction management.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple development projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of planning processes, construction methods, and contract management.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and relevant technical tools.
• Knowledge of the Bradford and wider West Yorkshire development market is essential.
