Property Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Development Manager to spearhead their new projects in Leeds . You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of property development projects, from initial concept and feasibility studies through to planning, construction, and final handover. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the property development process, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, local authorities, and investors in the West Yorkshire area. Success in this role will directly contribute to the company's expansion and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential development sites and opportunities within the Leeds region.
• Oversee the planning application process, working closely with planning consultants and local authorities.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Appoint and manage relationships with consultants, contractors, and other project team members.
• Monitor construction progress, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to specifications.
• Liaise with sales and marketing teams to ensure market viability and successful property sales post-completion.

Requirements

• Degree in Property Development, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in property development management.
• Demonstrable success in managing residential and/or commercial development projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of planning regulations, construction processes, and building contracts.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
