Property Development Surveyor

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Property Development Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Wolverhampton . This role is instrumental in identifying and evaluating potential development opportunities, managing projects from inception to completion, and ensuring profitability. You will be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle, from site acquisition and planning through to construction and sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, excellent project management skills, and a deep understanding of the property development process within the Wolverhampton region.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess suitable land and property for development projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and financial viability assessments.
• Manage the planning application process and liaise with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Oversee the design and construction phases, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and other third parties.
• Manage the sales and marketing of completed developments.

Requirements

• Degree in Surveying, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Significant experience in property development, ideally within the UK market.
• Strong understanding of planning regulations, building codes, and construction processes.
• Excellent project management, negotiation, and commercial negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and financial modelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
