About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Property Development Surveyor to join their established team in Nottingham . This role is pivotal in supporting the company's development pipeline by providing expert advice on site viability, planning, and construction aspects of new projects. You will work closely with the development team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and to the highest standards. This is an office-based role requiring a hands-on approach and strong collaboration with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and site appraisals for potential development projects.
• Assist in the planning application process, liaising with planning authorities and consultants.
• Oversee aspects of the construction phase, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide technical advice and support on property development matters to the wider team.

Requirements

• Degree in Surveying, Construction Management, Property Development, or a related field.
• Experience in a property development or construction-related role.
• Good understanding of the planning system and building regulations in the UK.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
