About the Role
Our client seeks a skilled Property Development Surveyor to join their fully remote team, focusing on identifying and assessing potential development sites across the UK. This role is crucial for evaluating land and property for development potential, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring projects meet commercial objectives. You will operate remotely, utilizing digital tools and market data to inform your assessments. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential land and property acquisition opportunities for development.
- Conduct site feasibility studies, including analysis of planning regulations, environmental factors , and infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations on development viability and project scope.
- Liaise with planning authorities, consultants, and legal teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Assist in the negotiation of purchase agreements and development agreements.
- Monitor development projects, providing progress updates and cost management insights.
Requirements
- Qualified Surveyor (e.g., MRICS) or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in property development , valuation, or acquisition surveying.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and building regulations.
- Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting .
- Proficiency with relevant software, including CAD and GIS tools where applicable.
